The Batman Chronicles Vol.1 begins with the very first appearance of the Dark Knight in Detective Comics #27, and continues with every subsequent appearance in sequence. Created by Bob Kane, Batman is featured in adventures written by Bill Finger, with art by Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson and various. This volume reprints Detective Comics #27-37 and Batman #1.
